Interview with Ahmad Mukoshy, the Yrn.me & Yarnable Founder
What did you learn from your failures? I learn that making 1Million Naira could be attractive, but the truth is keeping 1Million and making 50Million is even cooler. In a nutshell money is just a measure of calculating the level of success not success in its self. I learn that; when everything seems to be going smoothly, something is going wrong somewhere somehow. So I always find a way to improve on something, I learn to innovate; progress and improve, not every year; I mean every day.
The Brain Behind Aimtech Hosting Company
Do you have any advice for people who want to launch new startups?
One thing I would like to advice all new startups is that, starting small is not a shame. Starting something is all that matters! You don't have to be perfect, all you have to do is get it going. As time goes by, you'll find room for improvements.
We all started small, from babies to teenagers and to adults. So does every business!
Ahmad Mukoshy, The Creative African
What has been some of your greatest challenges in business and how did you overcome them?
I will always remember this. School has been my greatest challenge, it was never easy for me to maintain a balance of grades and income. Because throughout the course of my B.Sc Program, i was both under 20 and had hundreds of customers to attend to; needless to say more!

His writings are clean and he has a vision - yes, he wants to build Nigeria's GoDaddy. Ahmad is just one of those young Nigerians that make every one of us beam with hope and optimism.
My Startup Story with: Ahmad Mukoshy
Financially, I had to struggle to establish and sustain my ventures. I remember I actually sold my mobile phone back in 2007 to raise capital for my hosting company, that was about 11,000 Naira ($70) or there about as of then.
I was selling Domain Names to my friends and internet contacts who were asking me of how I registered my own.
Ahmad Mukoshy Shares Vision Behind Yrn.me & Yarnable.
Would you say you have achieved your aim of building yrn.me?
Well, not yet. Because, now I plan to have it on the top of African URL shortening services. I set to compete well with major brands like bit.ly and tinyurl. With the more home keyword, Yarn Me. I believe I have a chance to have Africa use Yrn.me especial when it's getting better.

We did want to ask you about what advice you would have for teens who want to learn more about using tech and digital media to aid their communities?
Well, I would love to encourage teenagers to embrace the technology sector and precisely build on things that are in need and current. The tech world is moving faster than imagination, but I believe courage will always take one there. Nothing is impossible, like I use to say… its not impossible, it is actually I-M-Possible (I’m possible). So, never should you under estimate you capacity. Two years back, I never thought I could be the one building apps today, and 1 year from now I’m sure it will be a totally new story of success.
